Occupations Code § 402.202","heading":"EXAMINATION REQUIRED.","body":"(a) To engage in fitting and dispensing hearing instruments in this state a person must pass an examination required by the department.\n(b) A person licensed under Chapter 401 as an audiologist or an audiology intern who is applying for a license under this chapter is exempt from the examination required under this chapter but must comply with all other requirements under this chapter.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
