Occupations Code § 402.253","heading":"EXPIRATION OF TEMPORARY TRAINING PERMIT.","body":"(a) A temporary training permit authorizes the permit holder to fit and dispense hearing instruments until the earlier of:\n(1) the date the permit expires; or\n(2) the date the permit holder passes the examination required for a license under this chapter.\n(b) A temporary training permit automatically expires on the first anniversary of the date of issuance unless the department extends the permit for an additional period not to exceed one year.\n(c) The department may not extend a temporary training permit more than once.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
