Occupations Code § 453.208","heading":"ISSUANCE OF LICENSE.","body":"(a) The board shall issue a license to an applicant who:\n(1) passes the examination under Section 453.205;\n(2) meets the qualifications prescribed by Section 453.203; and\n(3) has not committed an act that constitutes a ground for denial of a license under Section 453.351.\n(b) The board may issue a physical therapist assistant license to a person who has not completed an accredited physical therapist assistant program if the person:\n(1) meets the requirements under Section 453.203(a); and\n(2) has not been the subject of disciplinary action in another state or nation.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
