Occupations Code § 454.054","heading":"TERMS; VACANCY.","body":"(a) Members of the board serve staggered six-year terms, with the terms of two members licensed under this chapter and one member who represents the public expiring on February 1 of each odd-numbered year.\n(b) If a vacancy occurs during a member's term, the governor shall appoint a replacement to fill the unexpired term.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
