Occupations Code § 455.0511","heading":"GENERAL POWERS AND DUTIES.","body":"(a) The executive director shall administer and enforce this chapter.\n(b) The department shall:\n(1) investigate a person who may be engaging in or offering to engage in a practice that violates this chapter;\n(2) regulate the number of school hours and the content of the coursework provided by a massage school or a massage therapy instructor; and\n(3) prepare, recognize, administer, or arrange for the administration of an examination under this chapter.\nAdded by Acts 2017, 85th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1105 (H.B. 4007), Sec. 6.002, eff.
