Occupations Code § 455.054","heading":"RULES REGARDING MASSAGE THERAPISTS.","body":"Rules adopted under this chapter relating to a massage therapist must contain minimum standards for:\n(1) the issuance, denial, renewal, suspension, revocation, or probation of a license under this chapter;\n(2) the qualifications of a massage therapist;\n(3) the sanitary and hygienic conditions of the physical environment in which a massage therapist practices massage therapy;\n(4) the records kept by a massage therapist;\n(5) the inspection of the records, equipment, and sanitary and hygienic conditions of the physical environment used by a massage therapist in practicing massage therapy; and\n(6) any other aspect of the practice of a massage therapist necessary to protect the public.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
