Occupations Code § 501.401","heading":"GROUNDS FOR DISCIPLINARY ACTION.","body":"The executive council shall take disciplinary action under Subchapter G, Chapter 507, against a license holder who:\n(1) violates this chapter or a rule adopted under this chapter;\n(2) is convicted of a felony or of any offense that would be a felony under the laws of this state, or of a violation of a law involving moral turpitude;\n(3) uses drugs or alcohol to an extent that affects the person's professional competency;\n(4) engages in fraud or deceit in connection with services provided as a psychologist;\n(5) except as provided by Section 501.263:\n(A) aids or abets the practice of psychology by a person not licensed under this chapter in representing that the person is licensed under this chapter;\n(B) represents that the person is licensed under this chapter to practice psychology when the person is not licensed; or\n(C) practices psychology in this state without a license under this chapter or without being qualified for an exemption under Section 501.004; or\n(6) commits an act for which liability exists under Chapter 81, Civil Practice and Remedies Code.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
