Occupations Code § 502.254","heading":"LICENSE EXAMINATION.","body":"(a) Each applicant for a license under this chapter must pass an examination described by Section 502.252(b)(3).\n(b) An applicant for a license as a licensed marriage and family therapist associate under Section 502.252(b) must:\n(1) file an application on a form prescribed by the executive council not later than the 90th day before the date of the examination; and\n(2) pay the examination fee.\n(c) The examination consists of a written examination.\n(d) The executive council shall have any written portion of an examination validated by an independent testing professional.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
