Occupations Code § 502.257","heading":"ISSUANCE OF LICENSE.","body":"The executive council shall issue a license as a licensed marriage and family therapist associate or licensed marriage and family therapist, as appropriate, to an applicant who:\n(1) complies with the requirements of this chapter;\n(2) passes the licensing examination, unless the executive council exempts the person from the examination requirement; and\n(3) pays the required fees.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
