Occupations Code § 503.057","heading":"COUNSELING UNDER OTHER CERTIFICATION.","body":"This chapter does not apply to an activity, service, title, or description of a person certified by the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification or the Commission on Certification of Work Adjustment and Vocational Evaluation Specialists who:\n(1) is performing counseling consistent with state law, the person's training, and any code of ethics of the person's profession; and\n(2) does not use the title or hold the person out to be a licensed counselor.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
