Occupations Code § 504.159","heading":"ISSUANCE OF LICENSE TO PROVISIONAL LICENSE HOLDER.","body":"(a) The department shall issue a license under this chapter to a provisional license holder who satisfies the eligibility requirements established by Section 504.152. When issuing a license under this subsection, the department may waive the requirements established by Sections 504.152(6), (7), and (9).\n(b) The department shall complete the processing of a provisional license holder's application for a license not later than the 180th day after the date the provisional license is issued. The department may extend the 180-day period if the department has not received information necessary to determine whether the applicant is eligible for a license as provided by Subsection (a).\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
