Occupations Code § 504.305","heading":"HEARING.","body":"(a) If the person requests a hearing in a timely manner, the department shall set a hearing and give written notice of the hearing to the person.\n(b) The department may employ a hearings examiner for this purpose.\n(c) The hearings examiner shall:\n(1) make findings of fact and conclusions of law; and\n(2) promptly issue to the department a proposal for decision as to the occurrence of the violation and the amount of any proposed administrative penalty.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
