Occupations Code § 505.302","heading":"REGULATION OF SPECIALTY AREAS.","body":"(a) In establishing a specialty area of social work, the executive council shall:\n(1) define the scope of the specialty;\n(2) establish qualifications for specialty area practitioners that describe, in accordance with Subdivision (1), the scope of the specialty area;\n(3) adopt rules of conduct to ensure strict compliance with and enforcement of this chapter; and\n(4) adopt rules for the suspension or revocation of an order of recognition of specialty.\n(b) A person who is not recognized as satisfying the qualifications for a specialty area may not practice in the specialty area.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
