Occupations Code § 51.359","heading":"REFUND.","body":"(a) Subject to Subsection (b), the commission or executive director may order a license holder to pay a refund to a consumer as provided in an agreed settlement, default order, or commission order instead of or in addition to imposing an administrative penalty or sanction.\n(b) The amount of a refund ordered may not exceed the amount the consumer paid to the license holder for a service regulated by the department. The commission or executive director may not require payment of other damages or estimate harm in a refund order.\nAdded by Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., Ch. 663 (H.B. 1560), Sec. 1.10, eff.
