Occupations Code § 51.403","heading":"EXAMINATION FEE REFUND.","body":"(a) The department may refund a license examination fee to a person who is unable to take the examination if the person:\n(1) provides reasonable advance notice to the department; or\n(2) cannot take the examination because of an emergency.\n(b) The commission by rule shall define what constitutes reasonable notice and an emergency under this section.\nAdded by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 816, Sec. 1.019, eff.
