Occupations Code § 51.407","heading":"TEMPORARY LICENSE.","body":"(a) The commission by rule may provide for the issuance of a temporary license to an applicant who:\n(1) submits to the executive director an application on a form prescribed by the executive director;\n(2) meets preliminary qualifications established by commission rule; and\n(3) pays any required fees.\n(b) A temporary license issued under this section expires on the 21st day after the date of issuance and may not be renewed.\n(c) A temporary license holder is subject to:\n(1) this chapter;\n(2) any law applicable to the activity for which the license is required; and\n(3) any rule of the commission or the executive director applicable to the license.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 669 (H.B. 2310), Sec. 12, eff.
