Occupations Code § 562.107","heading":"WRITTEN CONSUMER INFORMATION REQUIRED.","body":"(a) Each pharmacy shall make available to a consumer written information designed for the consumer that provides at a minimum:\n(1) the therapeutic use of a drug; and\n(2) the names of generically equivalent drugs.\n(b) The information must be in a conspicuous location that is easily accessible to pharmacy customers. The information shall be periodically updated, as necessary, to reflect a change in the information.\n(c) On request by a consumer, the pharmacy shall make available to the consumer the cost index ratio of the prescribed drug and any generic equivalents of the prescribed drug.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
