Occupations Code § 602.209","heading":"LICENSE ISSUANCE.","body":"(a) The medical board may issue a license to an eligible applicant who:\n(1) passes the examination under Section 602.206; and\n(2) meets all other license requirements.\n(b) Not later than the 30th day after the date the medical board makes a decision on an application submitted under Section 602.203, the medical board shall notify the applicant of the decision.\n(c) If the medical board approves the application, the medical board shall issue a license to the applicant. If the medical board denies the application, the medical board shall include in the notice of decision a description of the areas of deficiency.\n(d) Each license issued under this chapter must be uniform, except that each license must indicate:\n(1) the license holder's name;\n(2) the serial number assigned to the license holder; and\n(3) the medical physics specialty the license holder may practice.\n(e) A license certificate is the medical board's property and must be surrendered on demand.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
