Occupations Code § 603.254","heading":"QUALIFICATION FOR EXAMINATION.","body":"(a) To qualify for the licensing examinations under this chapter, an applicant must have successfully completed a perfusion education program approved by the medical board.\n(b) The medical board may approve a perfusion education program only if the program has educational standards that are:\n(1) at least as stringent as those established by the Accreditation Committee for Perfusion Education of the American Medical Association or its successor; and\n(2) approved by the Commission on Accreditation of the Allied Health Education Program of the American Medical Association or its successor.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
