Occupations Code § 605.302","heading":"EXEMPTION FOR STUDENTS IN ORTHOTICS OR PROSTHETICS.","body":"This chapter does not apply to the activities and services of a student in orthotics or prosthetics who is:\n(1) pursuing a course of study in:\n(A) an orthotic or prosthetic program at a college or university recognized and accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs; or\n(B) an orthotic or prosthetic education program having education standards that are equivalent to or exceed the standards adopted by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs; or\n(2) working in a recognized training center or research facility, if the activities and services provided by the person at the training center or research facility constitute a part of the person's course of study in the discipline in which the person's supervisor is licensed under this chapter.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
