Occupations Code § 651.256","heading":"EXAMINATIONS REQUIRED FOR EMBALMER'S LICENSE.","body":"The commission shall administer or arrange for the administration of:\n(1) a written professionally prepared examination on:\n(A) the anatomy of the human body, including:\n(i) the cavities of the human body; and\n(ii) the arterial and venous system of the human body;\n(B) blood and discoloration;\n(C) bacteriology and hygiene;\n(D) pathology;\n(E) chemistry and embalming;\n(F) arterial and cavity embalming;\n(G) restorative art;\n(H) disinfecting;\n(I) embalming special cases;\n(J) contagious and infectious diseases;\n(K) mortuary management;\n(L) care, preservation, transportation, and disposition of dead human bodies;\n(M) sanitary science; and\n(N) other subjects that may be taught in a recognized school or college of mortuary science; and\n(2) a written examination developed by the commission or developed for the commission by contract on:\n(A) laws applicable to vital statistics pertaining to dead human bodies; and\n(B) local and state rules and laws relating to the care and disposition of dead human bodies.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
