Occupations Code § 651.651","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this subchapter:\n(1) \"Cremation\" means the irreversible process of reducing human remains to bone fragments through direct flame, extreme heat, and evaporation. The term may include pulverization, which is the process of reducing identifiable bone fragments after cremation and processing granulated particles by manual or mechanical means.\n(2) \"Crematory establishment\" means a business licensed under this subchapter to operate a crematory and to perform cremation services.\n(3) Repealed by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 263, Sec. 33(2), eff.
