Occupations Code § 702.551","heading":"INVESTIGATIVE AND ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITY.","body":"(a) The attorney general or a district or county attorney may:\n(1) investigate an alleged violation of this chapter; and\n(2) enforce any penalty or remedy authorized by this chapter.\n(b) The attorney general, a district or county attorney, or the secretary of state may recover reasonable expenses, including court costs, attorney's fees, investigative costs, witness fees, and deposition expenses, incurred in obtaining an injunction or recovering a civil penalty under this subchapter.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
