Occupations Code § 702.552","heading":"SUIT FOR ENFORCEMENT.","body":"(a) The attorney general or a district or county attorney may file suit against a person who violates, or threatens to violate, this chapter to:\n(1) obtain an injunction to enjoin the person from violating this chapter; or\n(2) recover a civil penalty under Section 702.553.\n(b) Venue for a suit filed under this section is in a district court located in:\n(1) Travis County; or\n(2) the county in which the defendant resides.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
