Occupations Code § 801.102","heading":"EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR POWERS AND DUTIES.","body":"(a) The executive director shall:\n(1) perform any duties assigned by the board and other duties specified by law;\n(2) administer and enforce the board's programs; and\n(3) issue licenses regulated by the board.\n(b) The executive director may:\n(1) delegate any power or duty assigned to the executive director unless prohibited by law; and\n(2) issue emergency orders and cease and desist orders as provided by this chapter.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
