Occupations Code § 901.152","heading":"ADVISORY COMMITTEES.","body":"(a) The board may appoint advisory committees to perform the advisory functions assigned to the committees by the board.\n(b) A member of an advisory committee who is not a member of the board may not receive compensation for service on the committee. The member may receive reimbursement for actual and necessary expenses incurred in performing committee functions as provided by Section 2110.004, Government Code.\n(c) A member of an advisory committee serves at the will of the board.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
