Occupations Code § 901.402","heading":"ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS; GENERAL PROHIBITION.","body":"(a) On payment of the required fees, the board shall issue a license to an applicant who complies with the requirement of Section 901.169(a) and:\n(1) holds a certificate issued under this chapter; or\n(2) holds a firm license issued under this chapter.\n(b) The board may not issue a license to or renew the license of a person who does not meet the licensing requirements of:\n(1) this chapter; or\n(2) the rules adopted under this chapter.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
