Occupations Code § 901.554","heading":"PENALTY TO BE PAID OR HEARING REQUESTED.","body":"(a) Not later than the 20th day after the date the person receives the report, the person may:\n(1) make a written request for a hearing; or\n(2) pay the administrative penalty to the board.\n(b) Failure to request a hearing or pay the penalty within the time provided by this section waives the right to a hearing under this chapter.\n(c) If the board determines without a hearing that the person committed a violation and a penalty is to be imposed, the board shall:\n(1) provide written notice to the person of the board's findings; and\n(2) enter an order requiring the person to pay the penalty.\nActs 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
