Occupations Code § 901.654","heading":"FACTORS.","body":"(a) Scholarships shall be established and administered in a manner that the board determines best serves the public purpose of the scholarships.\n(b) In determining what best promotes the public purpose, the board shall consider at a minimum the following factors relating to each person applying for a scholarship under this section:\n(1) financial need;\n(2) ethnic or racial minority status; and\n(3) scholastic ability and performance in at least 15 hours of upper-level accounting coursework.\nTransferred from Education Code, Subchapter N, Chapter 61 and amended by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 119 (H.B. 2440), Sec. 2, eff.
