Occupations Code § 953.151","heading":"COMPANY REQUIREMENTS.","body":"(a) A company may not sell, offer for sale, or issue a legal service contract in this state unless the company gives the legal service contract holder:\n(1) a receipt for, or other written evidence of, the purchase of the contract; and\n(2) a copy of the legal service contract.\n(b) A company shall perform the services as stated in the legal service contract.\nAdded by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1181, Sec. 1, eff.
