Parks and Wildlife Code § 12.606","heading":"REVIEW OF REFUSAL TO ISSUE OR RENEW PERMIT.","body":"In conducting a review of a decision by the department to refuse to issue or renew a permit, the department shall consider:\n(1) any applicable factors listed under Section 12.604;\n(2) the applicant's efforts toward rehabilitation;\n(3) whether there is a substantial likelihood that the applicant would repeat the conduct on which the refusal is based;\n(4) whether the conduct on which the refusal is based involved a threat to public safety; and\n(5) other mitigating factors.\nAdded by Acts 2013, 83rd Leg., R.S., Ch. 99 (S.B. 820), Sec. 3, eff.
