Parks and Wildlife Code § 13.309","heading":"AVAILABILITY OF LOCAL FUNDS.","body":"The department may agree with the United States or any appropriate agency to plan, acquire, operate, and develop projects involving participating federal aid funds on behalf of any political subdivision of this state if the political subdivision certifies to the department that:\n(1) sufficient funds are available to meet its share, if any, of the cost of the project; and\n(2) the acquired or developed areas will be operated and maintained at the expense of the subdivision for public outdoor recreation use.\nActs 1975, 64th Leg., p. 1405, ch. 545, Sec. 1, eff.
