Parks and Wildlife Code § 22.152","heading":"POWERS OF DEPARTMENT.","body":"The department may:\n(1) accept gifts for the construction, building, or advertising of the park;\n(2) accept gifts for exhibition dealing with the history or life of Fleet Admiral Chester W. Nimitz;\n(3) advertise the affairs of the park;\n(4) make rules and regulations for administration of the park;\n(5) hire personnel necessary to carry out its duties;\n(6) grant concessions; and\n(7) operate and maintain the park.\nActs 1975, 64th Leg., p. 1405, ch. 545, Sec. 1, eff.
