Parks and Wildlife Code § 283.022","heading":"FIREARMS.","body":"(a) Except as provided by Subsection (b) of this section, no person may possess for shooting a rifle or pistol of any kind on or over the water of Murvaul Lake in Panola County.\n(b) This section does not apply to a peace officer or game warden of this state or to a regular employee of the Panola County Fresh Water Supply District Number 1.\n(c) Possession of a rifle or pistol of any kind within 500 feet from the water of Murvaul Lake is prima facie evidence of a violation of this section.\nActs 1975, 64th Leg., p. 1405, ch. 545, Sec. 1, eff.
