Parks and Wildlife Code § 31.055 (2)","heading":"EXCEPTIONS.","body":"Text of section effective on January 01, 2028\nThis subchapter does not apply to:\n(1) a vessel with a valid marine document issued by the United States Coast Guard's National Vessel Documentation Center or a federal agency that is a successor to the National Vessel Documentation Center;\n(2) a foreign-documented vessel;\n(3) a barge;\n(4) a vessel before delivery if the vessel is under construction or completed under contract; or\n(5) an outboard motor that:\n(A) is at least 40 years of age; and\n(B) has a capacity of not more than 25 horsepower.\nAdded by Acts 1977, 65th Leg., p. 1253, ch. 484, Sec. 1(e), eff.
