Parks and Wildlife Code § 46.0011","heading":"RESIDENT AND NONRESIDENT DEFINED.","body":"In this chapter:\n(1) \"Resident\" means:\n(A) an individual who has resided continuously in this state for more than six months immediately before applying for a fishing license required by this chapter;\n(B) a member of the United States armed forces on active duty;\n(C) a dependent of a member of the United States armed forces on active duty; or\n(D) a member of any other category of individuals that the commission by regulation designates as residents.\n(2) \"Nonresident\" means an individual who is not a resident.\nAdded by Acts 1977, 65th Leg., p. 1110, ch. 409, Sec. 1, eff.
