Parks and Wildlife Code § 49.001","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this chapter:\n(1) \"Resident\" means an individual who has resided continuously in this state for more than six months immediately before applying for a falconry permit.\n(2) \"Nonresident\" means an individual who is not a resident.\n(3) \"Falconry\" means the practice of trapping, possessing, training, or flying a raptor for hunting purposes and includes the act of hunting by the use of a trained raptor.\nActs 1975, 64th Leg., p. 1405, ch. 545, Sec. 1, eff.
