Parks and Wildlife Code § 62.001","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"For the purpose of enforcement of the game laws of this state:\n(1) \"Closed season\" means the period of time during which it is unlawful to hunt a game animal, wild fowl, or bird.\n(2) \"Open season\" means the period of time during which it is lawful to hunt a specified animal, game animal, wild fowl, or bird.\n(3) \"Public road or right-of-way\" means a public street, alley, road, right-of-way, or other public way, including a berm, ditch, or shoulder.\nActs 1975, 64th Leg., p. 1405, ch. 545, Sec. 1, eff.
