Property Code § 301.026","heading":"RESIDENTIAL REAL ESTATE RELATED TRANSACTION.","body":"(a) A person whose business includes engaging in residential real estate related transactions may not discriminate against another in making a real estate related transaction available or in the terms or conditions of a real estate related transaction because of race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, or national origin.\n(b) In this section, \"residential real estate related transaction\" means:\n(1) the making or purchasing of loans or the provision of other financial assistance:\n(A) to purchase, construct, improve, repair, or maintain a dwelling; or\n(B) to secure residential real estate; or\n(2) the selling, brokering, or appraising of residential real property.\nAdded by Acts 1993, 73rd Leg., ch. 268, Sec. 40, eff.
