Property Code § 55.001","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this chapter:\n(1) \"Emergency medical services\" has the meaning assigned by Section 773.003, Health and Safety Code.\n(2) \"Emergency medical services provider\" has the meaning assigned by Section 773.003, Health and Safety Code.\n(3) \"Hospital\" means a person or institution maintaining a facility that provides hospital services in this state.\n(4) \"Person\" does not include a county, common, or independent school district.\nActs 1983, 68th Leg., p. 3562, ch. 576, Sec. 1, eff.
