Property Code § 92.251","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this subchapter:\n(1) \"Bedroom\" means a room designed with the intent that it be used for sleeping purposes.\n(2) \"Dwelling unit\" means a home, mobile home, duplex unit, apartment unit, condominium unit, or any dwelling unit in a multiunit residential structure. It also means a \"dwelling\" as defined by Section 92.001.\n(3) \"Smoke alarm\" means a device designed to detect and to alert occupants of a dwelling unit to the visible and invisible products of combustion by means of an audible alarm.\nActs 1983, 68th Leg., p. 3649, ch. 576, Sec. 1, eff.
