Special District Local Laws Code § 1001.056","heading":"DISTRICT ADMINISTRATOR.","body":"(a) The board shall:\n(1) appoint a person qualified by training and experience as district administrator; and\n(2) determine the administrator's compensation.\n(b) The board may remove the district administrator at any time.\n(c) Before assuming the duties of district administrator, the administrator must execute a bond payable to the district in an amount of not less than $10,000 that:\n(1) is conditioned on the administrator performing well and faithfully the administrator's required duties; and\n(2) contains other conditions the board may require.\nAdded by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 729 (H.B. 2019), Sec. 1.01, eff.
