Special District Local Laws Code § 1002.108","heading":"GIFTS AND ENDOWMENTS.","body":"(a) The board may accept for the district a gift or endowment to be held in trust and administered by the board for the purposes and under the directions, limitations, or provisions prescribed in writing by the donor that are not inconsistent with the proper management and objectives of the district.\n(b) This section is not a limitation on the authority of the board.\nActs 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1277, Sec. 1, eff.
