Special District Local Laws Code § 1005.052","heading":"ELECTION; TERM.","body":"(a) Directors are elected from the district at large.\n(b) Unless a four-year term is established under Section 285.081, Health and Safety Code:\n(1) directors serve staggered two-year terms; and\n(2) an election shall be held on the first Saturday in May of each year to elect the appropriate number of directors.\nAdded by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 729 (H.B. 2019), Sec. 1.01, eff.
