Special District Local Laws Code § 1009.054","heading":"BALLOT PETITION.","body":"(a) A person who wants to have the person's name printed on the ballot as a candidate for director must file a petition requesting that action.\n(b) The petition must be:\n(1) signed by at least 10 qualified voters; and\n(2) filed at least 25 days before the date of the election.\nAdded by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 729 (H.B. 2019), Sec. 1.01, eff.
