Special District Local Laws Code § 1010.051","heading":"BOARD ELECTION; TERM.","body":"(a) The district is governed by a board of 11 elected directors.\n(b) Unless four-year terms are established under Section 285.081, Health and Safety Code:\n(1) directors serve two-year terms; and\n(2) the terms of the five directors elected to even-numbered places expire in even-numbered years and the terms of the six directors elected to odd-numbered places expire in odd-numbered years.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.02, eff.
