Special District Local Laws Code § 1010.105","heading":"DISTRICT ELECTIONS.","body":"(a) Each district election shall be called by resolution or order of the board. The order or resolution must specify:\n(1) the date of the election;\n(2) the proposition to be submitted and voted on;\n(3) the polling place; and\n(4) any other matter considered necessary or advisable by the board.\n(b) Notice of each district election shall be given by publishing one time a substantial copy of the election resolution or order in a newspaper of general circulation in the district at least 20 days before the date set for the election.\n(c) The board shall declare the results of a district election.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.02, eff.
