Special District Local Laws Code § 1011.152","heading":"PROPOSED BUDGET: NOTICE AND HEARING.","body":"(a) The board shall hold a public hearing on the proposed budget.\n(b) Notice of the hearing must be published at least once in a newspaper of general circulation in Schleicher County not later than the 10th day before the date of the hearing.\n(c) Any district taxpayer is entitled to:\n(1) appear at the time and place designated in the notice; and\n(2) be heard regarding any item included in the proposed budget.\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 70 (S.B. 1147), Sec. 1.01, eff.
