Special District Local Laws Code § 1015.054","heading":"BOND; RECORD OF BOND.","body":"(a) Before assuming the duties of office, each director must execute a bond for $5,000 that is:\n(1) payable to the district; and\n(2) conditioned on the faithful performance of the director's duties.\n(b) The board may pay for a director's bond with district money.\n(c) Each director's bond shall be kept in the district's permanent records.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.02, eff.
