Special District Local Laws Code § 1016.051","heading":"BOARD ELECTION; TERM.","body":"(a) The board consists of seven directors elected as follows:\n(1) four directors, each of whom is a resident of a different county commissioners precinct; and\n(2) three directors from the district at large.\n(b) A district voter may vote on each of the seven directors.\n(c) Directors serve staggered two-year terms unless four-year terms are established under Section 285.081, Health and Safety Code.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.02, eff.
